Pardee Hospital Welcomes Southeastern Sports Medicine to Orthopedics Services

Pardee Hospital announced today that it is expanding its orthopedics service line with the addition of Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. The practice will become a department of Pardee Hospital effective Jan. 1, 2016. This addition will expand Pardee's nationally recognized orthopedics program, which recently received "high performing" ratings in hip replacement and knee replacement from U.S. News & World Report.

"Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is an excellent addition to our robust group of providers and surgeons working with Pardee," said James M. Kirby, II, CEO of Pardee Hospital. "With the addition of the Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics team, we look forward to providing high quality orthopedic care to even more people in Western North Carolina. As a department of Pardee, Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics will provide comprehensive sports medicine and orthopedic care for the athletes, students and families in Western North Carolina. The practice is comprised of a team of medical professionals specializing in the treatment and care of bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. The physicians practicing in the Pardee clinics will include Keith M. Maxwell, M.D., Gregory S. Motley, M.D., Andrew Rudins, M.D., Richard B. Jones, M.D., R. Christian Estes, M.D., James Phelps, M.D., M.P.T., Andrew Kersten, M.D., and Amal K. Das, Jr., M.D.

This new Pardee practice will treat patients at five locations, including two locations in Asheville: Turtle Creek and Mission Pardee Health Campus (MPHC); two locations in Hendersonville: Asheville Highway and Four Seasons Boulevard (adjacent to Pardee Urgent Care); and Waynesville.
