Yoga poses defined and explained step by step building on a strong foundational alignment. We work towards positioning the body in a way that allows you to get the full benefit of the pose while avoiding injury. Each pose will be practiced as well as the different variations of a particular pose, modifications of the pose and which muscles are strengthened and which muscles are stretched as well as helpful hints. During class, questions are encouraged. If time allows, at the end of each class, we combine the poses together in a flow yoga. There are approximately 20 poses or more that will be learned over a several weeks.
