Gift Planning and Bequests

Planned Gifts

By making a planned gift, you can make a significant impact at Pardee Hospital and improve health care for area residents long after you are gone. You may also gain financial and tax benefits for you and your family.

There are several types of gifts that first pay income to you and your family and, then, help Pardee Hospital. These may also enable you to dispose of illiquid assets in exchange for income and tax benefits.

  • The lead trust is a gift arrangement that can help transfer your wealth to the next generation in a tax-efficient manner.
  • A bequest is an effective way to leave a legacy in the community. Through your estate, retirement or insurance plan, you can provide general support to the hospital or fund an area of health care that is important to you.

Your membership involves no dues, obligations, or solicitations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others. You will receive invitations to the Legacy Society's Annual Appreciation Luncheon and other Legacy Society events, as well as invitations to educational seminars. You will also be recognized, with your permission, on a plaque in the main hospital.

Perhaps most importantly, making a Legacy gift will bring you peace of mind, knowing that you are doing something good that will live on long after you are gone.
