Have you considered your "Ultimate Gift?"

Jim Stovall is an author, successful investment banker, Olympic weight lifter, and entrepreneur. Honored in 2000 as the International Humanitarian of the year as the Co-founder and President of the NTN (Narrative Television Network). Mr. Stovall has helped make movies and television accessible for America’s 13 million blind and visually impaired people just like him.

In 2001, Jim wrote The Ultimate Gift and the book was recently made into a movie of the same name. In cooperation with the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, the movie has been released to nationwide audiences and fundraising organizations.

Think of it this way… “In the end, a person is only known by the impact he or she has on others.” What would you do if you inherited a large sum of money or had the ability through your own assets to make a gift that could impact your community for many years in the future?

In The Ultimate Gift a young man inherits one billon dollars from his grandfather’s estate. Through a series of lessons, Jason learns about work, friends, giving and receiving, and loving life to the fullest. He has the opportunity to continue his grandfather’s philanthropy and builds a hospital in his community as one of his major gifts.

This year Pardee Foundation has received many gifts both large and small to improve Pardee’s services. There have been several “ultimate gifts”. The estate of Dorothy Stowell, Charles Felton, Norman Hyde, Helen Chinkers, and Dorothea Beekman will continue the life long giving of these people.

How can you impact healthcare in Henderson County? Will you begin an endowment fund to enhance cancer services? Will your estate benefit Pardee, build new buildings or purchase the newest equipment? Will your ultimate gift make a difference?
