Wound Healing Services

The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center at Pardee is dedicated to the provision of state-of-the-art, outpatient clinical wound care and hyperbaric medicine for acute and chronic wounds. All levels of clinical staff on our team are trained in the most current evidence based-practices for problem wound management and hyperbaric medicine. Patient care is provided in partnership with Healogics, the leading national provider of wound care services, that touts an 88 percent healing rate within 31 median days-to-heal, and extremely high patient satisfaction.

When a patient is referred to the center, they will receive a complete physical and wound assessment with treatment based on wound etiology and state of the art wound care modalities. Our treatment process includes a holistic approach, addressing underlying problems, and educating for prevention and treatment.

The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center emphasizes collaboration with primary care physicians as well as other ancillary services through communication with referring physicians on an ongoing basis. Utilizing the Center ensures continuity of care for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient services.

Services include, but are not limited to:

• Debridement
• Total Contact Casting
• Non-invasive vascular studies
• Bio-engineered skin grafting
• Infection management
• Compression Therapy
• Negative pressure wound therapy initiation and management
• Hyperbaric oxygen therapy

Types of wounds that may benefit from the Wound Healing Center:

• Pressure ulcers
• Venous stasis ulcers
• Wounds caused by circulatory problems or trauma
• Diabetic foot and ankle ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Burns
• Bites
• Post radiation tissue injury
• Any wounds that have not healed in several weeks
