Cancer Survivor
I know it sounds crazy but something good has come out of my experience with cancer. By sharing my story with others, I hope to encourage as many people as possible to get regular prostate cancer screening tests. I’m living proof that early detection really is the key to curing prostate cancer.

Once you’re diagnosed with prostate cancer, it’s also just as important to find a highly qualified team of health care professionals to care for you. That’s why I chose the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Pardee.
Throughout my entire experience, I had a dedicated group of doctors and other health care staff who worked closely together to give me the best possible care.
After the doctors carefully explained all the treatment options to me, my family and I decided that radiation followed by a prostate seed implant procedure would be my best option.
The first time my wife and I went to Pardee for my radiation treatment in December 2004, she became very upset after seeing all the other cancer patients in the waiting area and wanted to leave. But, after talking to some of the patients and getting to know them, she realized that the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Pardee is a “place of hope.”
I would highly recommend Pardee to anyone- you can get the same high quality of cancer care and state-of-the-art technology that’s available in bigger cities right here in your own hometown.
