Pardee Physical Therapist, Duane Young, MSPT, will discuss topics including the anatomy of the knee as well as common issues related to strains,sprains and weakness. Arthritis and joint-specific exercises, therapeutic and surgical remedies including knee replacements, and Pardee’s prehabilitation program will also be covered.

Drs. Laborde and Capps will provide information on the latest treatments and will be available for questions and answers.

Pardee Hospital and Compassion & Choices are partnering to offer a workshop to help participants better understand advance directives. Documents, notaries and witnesses will be available so that attendees may leave with a legal document. Please bring a valid driver's license or proof of identification. Space is limited to 40 attendees and attendees need to be present at 1p.m. to participate.

Summer is coming and we want you to be in the best shape for all of your races, vacations and sports. This event is packed with information on how to get healthier and how to prepare for 5k and adventure races. Topics will include our Lighten Up 4 Life kick-off and how to prepare for upcoming races. A medical professional will discuss the importance of exercise, and a representative from Foot Rx will talk about the best type of running shoes and gear that are needed to be successful in exercising. This class is open to runners and walkers of all levels, as well as those who are interested in participating in a 5k or adventure race.
