Pardee Hospital Foundation will host A Black Tie Affair on Saturday, June 21, at 6 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Community College Technical Center. The event will celebrate Pardee Hospital's dedication to serving the health care needs of Henderson County and western North Carolina. The entire community is invited to attend this black tie event and enjoy a night of dinner, dancing, a live and silent auction and music. Funds raised from this event will benefit the Operating Room Integration Project at Pardee Hospital.
The foundation will present the eleventh annual Healthcare Philanthropist of the Year Award to a member of the community who has made an outstanding contribution to Pardee Hospital, to Pardee Hospital Foundation and for the improvement of the community's health care. The foundation will also present the second annual Physician of the Year Award. This award will be given to a Pardee physician whose career has been defined by medical excellence, dedication to compassionate patient care and a commitment to improving the lives of people throughout the community.
