The Comprehensive Wound Healing Center at Pardee is dedicated to the provision of state-of-the-art, outpatient clinical wound care and hyperbaric medicine for acute and chronic wounds. All levels of clinical staff on our team are trained in the most current evidence based-practices for problem wound management and hyperbaric medicine. Patient care is provided in partnership with Diversified Clinical Services, the leading national provider of wound care services, that touts an 88% healing rate within 31 median days-to-heal, and extremely high patient satisfaction.
When a patient is referred to the Center, they will receive a complete physical and wound assessment with treatment based on wound etiology and state of the art wound care modalities. Our treatment process includes a holistic approach, addressing underlying problems, and educating for prevention and treatment.

Lisa Stephenson, RN, BSN, NE-BC, BC, nursing coordinator at Pardee Hospital, recently received her second national certification and is now dual certified in medical-surgical nursing and as a nurse executive.
Stephenson received her nurse executive certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Stephenson received her BSN at Western Carolina University and is nearing completion of her MSN at Walden University.
“Besides serving as a nursing coordinator at Pardee, Lisa is one of our Magnet coordinators, helping lead our journey to achieving Magnet recognition for nursing excellence at Pardee,” said Pat Ashe, chief nursing officer at Pardee. “This community is incredibly fortunate to have such professional nurses on staff in our hospital.”
The American Nurses Credentialing Center provides individuals and organizations throughout the nursing profession with the resources they need to achieve practice excellence. ANCC's internationally renowned credentialing programs certify nurses in specialty practice areas.
Linda Dukes, CCM, works in the community case management department at Pardee Home Care and recently earned her certified case manager credential. “This certification is a demonstration of Linda’s commitment to her job and her abilities to case manage,” said Wanda Moore, director of Pardee Home Care. “Linda is a great ambassador for Pardee.”
Case managers who have earned the Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential have the expertise, knowledge and professional experience to provide the right services to patients with serious or complex medical conditions, and/or catastrophic injuries and illnesses. Certified Case Managers have proven experience working to provide services such as: designing and monitoring a care plan, coordinating among care providers, facilitating communication among multiple parties, evaluating patient progress, and more.
Pardee Home Care offers a full range of in-home services provided by registered nurses, rehab specialists, social workers and home health aide. In-home services include: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, orthopedic and cardiac care, diabetes management, home safety evaluations, full range of nursing services, wound care and medication management. The Comprehensive Cancer Center at Pardee has been honored with the Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA) from the Commission on Cancer (CoC) of the American College of Surgeons (ACoS). Dr. Thomas Eisenhauer, Pardee Cancer Committee Chairman and Dr. John Hill, Cancer Liaison Physician recently presented Pardee CEO, Kris Hoce, with the award. Pardee's Comprehensive Cancer Center is the only cancer program in N.C. and one of 82 programs nation-wide to recieve the award.
