Sarah Bentley, BSN, RN-BC, recently received national certification in Gerontology Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Bentley has been employed with Pardee for three years and provides exceptional in-patient and out-patient care for the medical/oncology unit. She serves as a charge nurse as well as precepts student nurses and newly hired nurses. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gardner-Webb University, located in Boiling Springs, N.C. Bentley is nationally certified in both medical/surgical nursing and gerontological nursing and she is chemotherapy certified. She is a member of the Magnet Task Force at Pardee and attended the 2011 National Magnet Conference
in Baltimore, Md. Bentley was also recognized as Pardee Hospital’s Employee of the Year in 2011.
