Six Pardee Hospital nurses achieve national certifications

Pardee Hospital nurses are committed to continuing education to enhance patient care in Henderson County, and in the month of July six nurses have achieved national certifications.
“When nurses prioritize continuously improving their knowledge and skills, which is demonstrated in the stringent criteria to achieve national certification in a nursing specialty, it results in increasing the quality of care for our patients. This commitment to patient care quality is an inspiration to others with whom they work; further encouraging learning and sharing best practices among the team of caregivers,” said Pat Ashe, MS, BSN, RN, FACHE, Vice President Clinical Services and Chief Nursing Officer.
Pardee Hospital would like to highlight the following nurses for obtaining national certifications:
Gayle Sams, BSN, RN, CEN, CCRN, CNML, Certified Nursing Manager Leader
Tricia Mills, BSN, RN-BC, CNML, Certified Nursing Manager Leader
Kim Telles, BSN, RN-BC, Board-certified in Gerontology Nursing
Karen Waisman, BSN, RN-BC, RNIII, Board-certified in Gerontology Nursing
Cheryl Mack, RN-BC, Board-certified in Medical Surgical Nursing
Margaret Austin, RNIII, CCRN, Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse
