Charles Henrichs, M.D., FACEP, received the George Podgorny, M.D., Distinguished Service Award on June 18, 2011 at the Annual Membership Meeting of the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The George Podgorny, M.D., Distinguished Service Award recognizes a physician’s dedication, outstanding service and lifetime achievement in the field of emergency medicine.
Dr. Henrichs serves as the Medical Director at Pardee Urgent Care
. He received his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California and is board-certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Henrichs is a past President of the North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians (NCCEP) and serves as Councilor at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
The North Carolina College of Emergency Physicians
(NCCEP) is a chartered chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians
and is made up of physicians ranging from academicians to private practice physicians to residents and medical students. The college exists to support quality emergency care as well as advocate for the rights of physicians and their patients.
