Karla Reese receives Masters in Health Sciences

Karla Reese, Director of Pardee Pavilion Adult Day Health Services in Flat Rock, recently completed the Master’s in Health Sciences with a concentration in Gerontology at Western Carolina University.
Reese has served as Director of Pardee Pavilion Adult Day Health Services since 2006. She received her Bachelor in Social Work from Warren Wilson College and completed the graduate level Gerontology Certificate program at Western Carolina University. Reese is also a licensed Assisted-Living Administrator.
Before serving as Director at Pardee Pavilion Adult Day Health Services, Reese spent 19 years as a social worker and discharge planner at Pardee Hospital. In the past she worked in assisted-living and memory care as well as served as Director of Meals on Wheels for Henderson County for three years.
Pardee Pavilion Adult Day Health Services is the only licensed adult day program in Henderson County. The Pavilion offers a safe, protective and stimulating environment for adults with physical or mental impairments. Services include health monitoring, meals, snacks and personal care assistance.
