Pardee Center for Women's Health has received ultrasound practice accreditation in the area of OB/GYN by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine (AIUM).
Pardee Center for Women's Health achieved this recognition by meeting rigorous voluntary guidelines set by the diagnostic ultrasound profession. All facets of the practice were assessed; including the training and qualifications of physicians and sonographers, ultrasound equipment maintenance, documentation, storage and record-keeping practices, policies and procedures to protect patients, and staff and quality assurance methods.
The AIUM is a multidisciplinary medical association of more than 9,000 physicians, sonographers, scientists, students and other health care providers. Established more than 50 years ago, the AIUM is dedicated to advancing the safe and effective use of ultrasound in medicine through professional and public education, research, development of guidelines and accreditation.
Pardee Center for Women's Health focuses on keeping patients well through regular screenings, routine visits with a physician, digital mammograms and gynecological care. The Center for Women's Health features board-certified OB/GYNs, certified nurse-midwives and highly-trained nurses and staff.
