Pardee Hospital Foundation will hold its 18th Annual Tournament of Champions on Monday, May 13, at Kenmure Country Club in Flat Rock.
Proceeds from this year's Tournament of Champions will help the Pardee Hospital Foundation purchase an angiography imagery device used in orthopedic, vascular and general surgeries. This device will be used for diagnosing and removing blood clots, placing vascular stents and during bypass surgeries.
"As a member of Pardee Foundation's Board of Directors, I am proud of the continued generous support of Pardee Hospital by those who recognize their community hospital's outstanding service and quality. They trust their lives and those of their families to a dedicated, award-winning team of nurses, physicians and staff," said Lynn Matykiewicz, co-chair of the 18th Annual Tournament of Champions and past president of the Pardee Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
The Tournament of Champions includes a nine-hole tournament starting at 9 a.m. and an 18-hole tournament starting at 12:30 p.m. Captain's Choice teams comprised of four players will be the format for each tournament with prizes given for longest drive and closest-to-the-pin.
The nine-hole tournament entry fee is $125 per player and the 18-hole tournament entry fee is $250 per player. Entry fees include the round of golf selected, lunch and player gift. An awards banquet will follow the 18-hole tournament.
