Integrative Medicine: Is Taking Supplements Worthwhile?

                                                                                                           
The community is invited to hear Dr. Gary Asher presents “Integrative Medicine: Is taking supplements worthwhile,” a Lunch and Learn workshop, from 12 - 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11th at Pardee Hospital, located on 800 North Justice Street in Hendersonville.

Gary Asher, M.D., MPH, is a board-certified family medicine physician and medical acupuncturist at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in the Department of Family Medicine. Among a variety of areas in Complementary and Alternative Medicine, he has trained in Ayurvedic Medicine, Western Botanical Medicine, Massage Therapy and Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Asher serves as Director of Integrative Medicine Services at the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he provides Integrative Medicine consultations for cancer patients and survivors.

This free community event will be located in the Video Conference Room on the ground floor of Pardee Hospital. Directional signs will be posted at the main entrance as well as the parking garage. A complimentary light lunch will be provided.
