Pardee Hospital is pleased to congratulate Rennay Rudolph, RN, for receiving the 2013 Crystal Redding Memorial Award.
The Crystal Redding Memorial Award is given in the honor of Crystal Redding who was a registered nurse and a director of Case Management. Redding passed away in 2010 after a long battle with cancer. This award is given each year to an individual who possess teamwork, is an innovator in the practice of Case Management and also demonstrates courage in the face of challenges.
Rudolph stated that she is truly honored to have received this prestigious award. However, she is quick to point out this kind of work is not a single effort; it takes an entire team of skilled professionals to do a wonderful job. She commented, "I could not have achieved this award without the help of the Case Management team." She has worked at Pardee Hospital for eight years and has been the Manager of Case Management for the last two years.
Rudolph was nominated by her peers who felt that her creative efforts to improve departmental communication, and offering innovative discussion topics regarding the industry made her deserving of the award. The award includes in all expense paid trip to the national American Case Management Association conference. This year the conference will be hosted in Chicago, IL during the month of April.
