Pardee's Quality and Case Management departments host diaper drive

The Quality and Case Management departments decided to host their own diaper drive for the Hendersonville Storehouse on 7th Ave. In doing so, the group brought in over 1,300 baby diapers, plus money that will be used to purchase more diapers for children this Christmas. The idea stemmed from Linda Owenby, who's mother volunteers at the Storehouse. Linda said that so many of the mothers that come to the Storehouse do not have diapers for their babies. This gave her the idea to do a diaper drive within her department to see how many diapers, as a group, they could bring in and donate to these families. The diapers and money kept flowing in, and now the department is considering doing it year-round. They call their campaign, "Dry Butts for Christmas." If you would like to contribute to the diaper drive, contact Linda Owenby at (828) 696-7965. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]

Toys for Tots drive a great success

As always, Pardee associates went above and beyond bringing dozens of toys for the Toys for Tots drive last Thursday, Dec. 9. The drive was a huge success! Associates had a great time at the Holiday reception mingling, munching, and having punch and eggnog all served by the directors. During the celebration, Myra Grant, VP Community Accountability and Philanthropy, presented SSGT Wes Russell a check on behalf of Pardee Hospital for WNC Toys for Tots. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's "Season of Giving" campaign. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
