John Pirrello, local chef at Frankie Bones Restaurant & Lounge
in Asheville, presented a cooking demo at the Pardee Health Education Center on Wednesday, June 30, to a crowd of 100 guests. John's recipes were designed to showcase healthy ways of cooking the foods we traditionally consider unhealthy. Recipes included a pineapple gravy over grilled chicken and cream sauce over rice pasta. The participants were able to sample and enjoy both recipes.
