Tanner Geis to provide cooking demonstration

Tanner Geis, South Central gold medalist and national bronze medalist for Young Chef Rotisseur, will provide a cooking demonstration at the Pardee Health Education Center
on Friday, Aug. 13 from 1 until 2:30 p.m. The cost is $5 per person and registration is required by calling 1-866-790- WELL (9355). Geis will be demonstrating what can be done with the abundance of summer fruit. He will be using his own healthy recipes to show that there is more to fruit than pies and cobblers. Geis, who appeared on the Food Network, has been a chef at many local dining establishments including the Richmond Hill Inn, the Woodfield Inn and the Bistro at Biltmore Estate
. Registration is required and space is limited for this cooking demonstration.
