Henderson County is fortunate to have tobacco-free schools, parks, restaurants and community hospital. As a NC Prevention Partner, Pardee Hospital is offering free counseling to our employees, their families, our patients and our community to assist them with quitting tobacco use. Research has shown that counseling, in person or by phone, is most effective at helping people quit the use of tobacco (Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence, 2008 Update). NC Prevention Partners
provides a free telephone counselor at your convenience who will provide the information and support needed for success. For more information on quitting tobacco call the NC Prevention Partners at 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
