Amal Das, M.D., and Brian Seng, D.O., orthopedic surgeons with Hendersonville Orthopaedic Associates
will present “Minimally Invasive Anterior Hip Replacement,” at the Life Enrichment Center located in the Lelia Patterson Center on Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 2 until 3:30 p.m. The surgeons will discuss the relatively new technique of anterior hip replacement. This procedure is performed without detaching muscles and tendons from the hip, leading to a faster recovery. They will discus the pros, cons and misconceptions associated with this procedure. Time for questions will be included in the presentation. Registration for this free presentation is required by calling 1-866-790-WELL (9355). Drs. Das and Seng are two of the physicians associated with the Pardee Hospital Center for Joint Replacement
, which is dedicated to the treatment and rehabilitation of patients undergoing hip, knee and shoulder replacement surgery. They both completed a fellowship in hip and knee replacement with Joint Implant Surgeons in Columbus, Ohio. The Lelia Patterson Center is located southeast of the I-26 exit 44 at 1111 Howard Gap Road in Fletcher, N.C.
