Pardee Hospital continues to celebrate being the first and only hospital in the state of North Carolina to receive the ISO 9001:2008 certification. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification is a rigorous process in which a hospital improves and monitors the delivery of patient care, measures quality, and places the highest priority on eliminating errors. ISO standards are used internationally in different fields including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, aerospace, medical devices and healthcare.
On March 20th, with the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, we hosted a banner raising to celebrate this certification. Many distinguished guests were present and a letter from the Governor was read on her behalf. Thanks to everyone who came out to show their support for Pardee Hospital.
