Pardee Hospital and Park Ridge Health have partnered with The Blood Connection
and will begin blood collections in Henderson County this summer.
“Pardee Hospital is pleased to be working with The Blood Connection and we feel that it’s a good way to maintain a safe and cost-effective blood supply that will be available to the residents of Henderson County. I’m hopeful that our community will continue to support our blood drives and help keep blood donations local for those who need it,” said Jay Kirby, Pardee Hospital President and C.E.O.
“We are excited to join Pardee Hospital in partnering with The Blood Connection,” said Jimm Bunch, President and C.E.O. of Park Ridge Health. “The Blood Connection is widely recognized as a state-of-the-art organization with an outstanding legacy of community service, providing health care partners with a consistent, safe and cost-effective supply.”
Both organizations say they are confident that partnering with The Blood Connection
will offer the community the best patient care possible.
The Blood Connection was founded in 1979 and is the largest independently managed, non-profit community blood center in its region. The Blood Connection’s Biologics Processing Center provides in-house testing, while its Immunohematology Reference Laboratory enables specialists to quickly solve blood compatibility challenges that often took more time in the past. Partners with The Blood Connection benefit from service fees that are among the lowest in the country.
