Pardee Hospital leaders said Wednesday that strategies to improve patient satisfaction were implemented well before the results of a survey ranking the hospital as one of the lowest in the region in that category were released.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services survey was conducted from July 2010 to June 2011 and showed a 67 percent patient satisfaction rate. Officials said the data used in the survey is old, and that satisfaction is already improving.
