Land O’ Sky Garden Club comes together to beautify Pardee

Land O' Sky Garden Club volunteers give their time and talent to make sure Pardee Hospital looks beautiful. It is amazing the local organizations that come together to help each other out. Make sure and vote

Downtown Hendersonville is hosting the the eighth annual public art display of Bear sculptures by local artists called "Bearfootin" in Hendersonville. Please make sure and vote for your Favorite Bear to win the People's Choice Award. Pardee's bear is called "The Many Paths to Wellness" done by the very talented artists, Constance Vlahoulis and Barbara Hipwell. Go here to vote. On October 23rd, the bears will gather at the Historic Courthouse at noon for a final viewing and public auction of the bears.  A percentage of every winning bid will to go to a local charity designated by the winning bidder. Appalachian Eats - Pardee Hospital's Healthy Cooking show

We filmed a pilot healthy cooking TV show for Pardee Hospital last night called “Appalachian Eats” up at Grand Highlands on Bearwallow Mountain. The premise is how to cook local foods, purchased locally in a healthy/health conscious way. We are using local food from farmers markets and the chefs are also local. Starr Teel from Hubba Hubba did the pilot episode which was hosted by Ariel Glassman. We will be presenting the show to Public Television and some other networks, the show is being filmed by The Obsidian Collective. Stay tuned for updates! County to discuss potential Pardee sale - Times-News article
