Many exciting projects are underway in Western
North Carolina to help make Asheville and the surrounding communities an even healthier place to live, work and play. Kristen Weaver will speak at Take Time, Take Charge - an event for all women on Pioneering Healthier Communities. Pioneering Healthier Communities (PHC) was developed
to create more opportunity for access to healthy living, with a goal of achieving a sense of well being and longevity throughout the communities. Come learn about how PHC is serving as a catalyst providing leadership, support, coordination and resources to remove obstacles and assist the community in achieving their physical activity goals. It is the desire of all organizations involved with PHC for these initiatives to serve as inspiration to the entire state and country to help make our nation a place where healthy living is easily accessible for all.
