Pardee nurses recognized in Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina

Nina Lovern, BSN, RN-BC, CDE, Nurse Educator and Perspectives Diabetes Program Coordinator, Barbara Davenport, MSN, CNM, RN-BC, Advance Practice Nurse and Nurse Midwife, and Bridget Barron, BSN, RN-BC, Nursing Director of Psychiatric & Addictions Therapeutic Healing Services, were recently named as three of the Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina for 2011.
These extraordinary nurses were selected by their peers for their continued excellence in patient care and commitment to the nursing profession. Pardee is proud to honor Lovern, Davenport and Barron’s achievement and are three of many Pardee nurses that make a difference everyday in the lives of their patients and the community.
Lovern, Davenport and Barron will be recognized and receive their awards at a black tie celebration event on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at the Koury Convention Center, Greensboro, North Carolina.
The Great 100 Nurses in North Carolina is a grassroots peer recognition organization honoring the nursing profession in North Carolina. The organization annually acknowledges 100 North Carolina nurses who demonstrate excellence in practice and commitment to their profession, and contributes scholarships funds for registered nurse education.
