NAMI Four Seasons focuses on Mental Illness Awareness Week

In observance of Mental Illness Awareness Week, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Four Seasons will be hosting speaker and New York bestselling author, Pete Earley, on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 10 a.m. in the Bo Thomas Auditorium, located at Blue Ridge Community College.
Earley, author of “Crazy: A Father’s Search Through America’s Mental Health Madness” has been recognized by the Washington Magazine as one of the ten journalists in America who “have the power to introduce new ideas and give them currency”. A book signing will follow Earley’s presentation.
NAMI Four Seasons encourages law enforcement officers, judicial representatives, mental health providers, elected officers, families and residents of the community to attend. Admission is $10 and proceeds will go to crisis intervention training.
