Pardee volunteers build a house :: Habitat for Humanity

This last weekend, our team of over 45 volunteers from Pardee showed up on a chilly Saturday morning to work on a Habitat for Humanity house in Shuey Knolls. That morning we stood gripping cups of steaming coffee, huddling around the foundation of the house listening to Alan from Habitat give instructions for the day. After the briefing, we set forth armed with tool belts stuffed with nails and wielding hammers to raise the walls and get the house ready for trusses. The team worked all day and had a great time with the folks from Habitat. Thanks again to everyone who helped and took part, it was a huge team effort and the results were fantastic.
