Tracey Roizman, chiropractic neurologist, will speak at the Sjogren Syndrome Support Group on Wednesday, June 20, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Pardee Health Education Center located in the Blue Ridge Mall.
Roizman is a chiropractic neurologist who specializes in Chiropractic Functional Neurology (CFN), a brain-based approach to illness prevention and treatment that is applicable to a wide variety of health conditions. CFN is a particularly useful tool for evaluating imbalances between the left and right hemispheres of the brain that may lead to an overactive immune system and development of autoimmune conditions such as Sjogren's syndrome.
This free educational talk and workshop will focus on the relationship between the brain and the immune system and the Chiropractic Functional Neurology approach to evaluating and treating Sjogren's.
