March Wellness Classes at Pardee Rehab & Wellness Center

Be sure to try out one of our March wellness classes at Pardee Rehab & Wellness Center, located at 212 Thompson St.

Yogalates (Yoga + Pilates): A blend of mind-body strength, balance, core and flexibility movements with clear, compassionate instruction for all levels. Practice is done in sitting, lying and standing positions. Mats are available. $8 for non-members. Mondays, 12 - 1 p.m.

Gentle Yoga: A slower interpretation of the same full body movements and guided breathing that yoga offers. Great for beginners. Focus is on compassionately and safely practicing strength, balance and flexibility postures for whole body health. $8 for non-members. Tuesdays, 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

Pilates-based Core: A mat class geared to strengthen and tone the core muscles of your abdomen, back, hips and thighs. All levels welcome for this fun challenge. Mats provided. $3 for non-members. Wednesdays & Fridays, 10:30 -11a.m.

Flow Yoga: This is a moderate-paced flow of strength, flexibility and balancing postures guided with inspiring thoughts and options for most levels. Come see how a little work on the mat translates to happier living. Mats provided. $8 for non-members. Wednesdays & Fridays, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. 

SilverSneakers Muscular Strength and Range of Motion (MSROM): This core class for Healthways' group exercise program is designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance and coordination, and to improve participants' functional capacities, physical fitness level and sense of well-being. Only open to SilverSneakers and Prime members. Participants must have physician permission to participate. Wednesdays, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. & Fridays, 9 – 10 a.m.

Standing and Chair Yoga: Mind-body movement paired with deep breathing for individuals who cannot get up and down off the ground independently. Postures will include sitting and standing movements to relieve stiffness, improve balance and stability, and think more clearly. No experience required. $3 for non-members. Thursdays, 12:30 - 1 p.m.
