When you are a patient at Pardee Hospital you may have multiple team members providing care for you during your stay. We strive to provide compassionate care that focuses on the individual needs of patients and their families.
A Hospitalist is a physician who specializes in managing care for patients during in-hospital stays. Our Hospitalists' goal is to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care possible and are on their way to living a full, healthful life.
Our team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants provide 24-hour nursing care. Each unit also has a nursing director who is responsible for directing and coordinating nursing care.
Chaplaincy services are available with Chaplains who will assist you regardless of your religious traditions. Your priest, minister or rabbi is always welcome to visit you while you are here. A chapel is located on the first floor.
A member of our housekeeping staff will clean your room daily. Speak to your nurse if you have a housekeeping request for your room.
From the time of your admission, Pardee's case management team begins planning for any continued care you may need after you leave the hospital. This team consists of your physician, a case manager and a nurse. Your case manager will assist in arranging your continued care whether it is at your home or in a nursing facility.
Discharge planning is done with careful consideration of you and your family's wishes and needs, as well as input from your doctor, and evaluations of available resources throughout the country.
If you have emotional, social or financial needs related to your medical condition, a medical social worker is also available to help. If you have any concerns about caring for yourself after discharge, please ask to speak to the discharge planner or social worker.
