Pardee UNC Health Care to Host Free “Cancer Conversations” Webinar on Friday, October 26

Pardee UNC Health Care will continue “Cancer Conversations,” a monthly educational webinar series in partnership with UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, onFriday, Oct. 26 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in Pardee’s Video Conference Room, located at 800 N. Justice Street. This month’s webinar topic is “Understanding Breast Cancer.” The program is free and open to the public. Kristalyn Gallagher, D.O., FACOS, surgical director of the UNC Breast Center and section chief of breast surgery at UNC School of Medicine, will share how breast cancer develops and factors that may increase your risk. She will also discuss signs and symptoms and how to manage your fears.
