Pardee UNC Health Care to Host Free Seminar, Options for Managing Joint Pain, on Thursday, April 25
Pardee UNC Health Care will host a free seminar, Options for Managing Joint Pain, on Thursday, April 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Henderson County Health Sciences Center, located at 805 6th Avenue West in Hendersonville (second floor, room 2003). Gregory Lavigne, M.D., a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, a department of Pardee Hospital, will discuss arthritis, treatment options and overall joint health.
“There are more than 100 different types of arthritis that can cause pain, swelling and stiffness around the joints,” says Dr. Lavigne. “The good news is there are many things that can be done to reduce pain and preserve joint function and mobility.”
