Pardee Hospital Foundation Major Gifts Officer Jim Brewer Wins Bronze for Discus Throw at National Senior Games 2019
Pardee Hospital Foundation major gifts officer Jim Brewer took home the bronze medal for the discus throw at his first National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He competed against 27 other participants in the male 55 to 59 age group. Prior to this, Brewer had competed in local and state games for the past three years. He plans to compete in the World Masters Athletic Games in Toronto, Canada in August 2020 and the 2022 National Games in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
“I would like to thank Kim Hinkelman and my colleagues at the Foundation who encouraged and supported me through the process,” said Brewer. “I also extend thanks to Dr. Nathaniel Jablecki and all the Pardee team members who kept me healthy while I trained. I couldn't have done it without all of them.”
