Pardee UNC Health Care Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Charles DePaolo Hendersonville, N.C.

Pardee UNC Health Care announced today that Charles DePaolo, M.D., a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, has joined Southeastern Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, a department of Pardee. Dr. DePaolo specializes in joint reconstructive surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee; cartilage preservation procedures; osteochondral transfer procedures; and the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells. His goal is to relieve pain and restore function to his patients’ everyday lives.

He earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, completed his internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis and completed his residency at Campbell Clinic, University of Tennessee, in Memphis. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine.

Pardee UNC Health Care is a not-for-profit community hospital founded in 1953 and is managed by UNC Health Care. The hospital is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
