Pardee UNC Health Care Welcomes Dr. Tania Diaz

Pardee UNC Health Care announced today that Tania Diaz M.D., a board-certified physician in internal medicine, geriatrics and lifestyle medicine, has joined Pardee Fletcher Medical Associates, located at 2695 Hendersonville Rd. Suite 200, in Arden. Dr. Diaz has special interest in improving the quality of life, promoting healthy aging and preventing, treating and reversing the most common chronic disease using evidence-based lifestyle therapeutics. In addition to providing state-of-the-art primary care, Dr. Diaz helps patients develop personalized goals for care using a holistic and comprehensive approach to health and wellness, including optimal nutrition, physical activity, adequate sleep and stress management. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Dr. Diaz earned her medical degree from Universidad Mayor the San Andres School of Medicine in La Paz, Bolivia. She completed her internship and residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital South Shore, affiliated to SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York. When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Diaz enjoys cooking, walking, hiking, and participating in medical mission trips. Dr. Diaz is accepting new patients.
