Daniel Drechsler, MD, CAQSM joins Pardee Family and Sports Medicine

Pardee UNC Health Care continues to expand its primary care network with the addition of Daniel Drechsler, MD, CAQSM, to Pardee Family and Sports Medicine in Mills River. Dr. Drechsler is fellowship-trained and board-certified in sports medicine and board-certified in family medicine. He provides comprehensive care for athletes and active people of all ages, including treatment of acute and chronic injuries and illnesses, sports medicine, primary care services, annual physical exams and preventive care.

Dr. Drechsler earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his family medicine residency and primary care sports medicine fellowship with Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. In his free time, Dr. Drechsler enjoys working in the yard, cooking, hiking, fly fishing, woodworking, weightlifting, and spending time with his wife, three children and the family dog.   • Labor and Birth Class

    Expectant parents learn to prepare for the challenges of birth, including the labor and delivery process, relaxation and breathing techniques, positioning and comfort measures. A tour of the Women's and Children's Center is included.
