UNC Health Pardee Expands Primary Care with the Addition of Three New Providers to Pardee BlueMD

Kristen Lee, MDUNC Health Pardee continues to expand access to primary care by adding internal medicine physician Kristen Lee, M.D. and family medicine physician assistants Brooke Fowler, PA-C and Kate Thompson, PA-C. Dr. Lee will join Pardee BlueMD - 712 Fleming St. and Fowler and Thompson will practice at Pardee BlueMD - 611 5th Ave West.

Dr. Lee shared that her favorite part of being in primary care is getting to know her patients on a personal level and working on their care together as a team. “I believe there is a big connection between the things that have happened to us in our lives and our health and for that reason, I want to know my patients’ stories so that together, we can create a health plan that serves them well,” Dr. Lee said. When she is not seeing patients Dr. Lee enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends and reading. She is accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment call (828) 694-7630.

A Brevard native, Thompson is excited to return to her roots and shares that, “I love getting to serve the community where I grew up.” Thompson said she looks forward to joining the practice because of Pardee’s reputation for compassionate and innovative care. “I want my patients to know that I am a trusted resource for them and here to help,” she said.
