Abigail Karroubi Named Leader of the Quarter for UNC Health Pardee

UNC Health Pardee has announced Abigail Karroubi, BSN, RN, operations manager, Pardee @Work, as its Leader of the Quarter. In this role, Abigail oversees clinics and wellness programs that support employee health and ensure teammates and community partners receive the highest quality occupational health services, supporting both their well-being and vital work.

Abigail’s colleagues describe her as a true leader and example of excellence who consistently and passionately performs in her role. “Abigail steps up every day for her teammates with a smile on her face and love in her heart,” a colleague shared. “If we need a last-minute visit with a provider or a quick diagnostic test, she makes it happen, and I appreciate the care she provides for all Pardee teammates.” Coworkers said that Abigail has an infectious laugh and brings a delightful atmosphere to work every single day.

The Leader of the Quarter award is given to a Pardee teammate in a position of director or higher. The recipient positively contributes to achieving the organization’s mission, vision and goals. This person is selected by a committee of their peers and recognized for going above and beyond their regular duties to support patients, customers, peers, the organization and its community. The Leader of the Quarter award showcases the many different roles of keeping a health system, like Pardee, operating and delivering patient-centered, quality care.

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit regional healthcare organization based in Henderson County and managed by UNC Health.
