Materials Management Storeroom Supervisor Greenlee Caldwell Named Teammate of the Month for UNC Health Pardee

UNC Health Pardee has named Greenlee Caldwell, storeroom supervisor in the Materials Management department, as its Teammate of the Month. In his role, Caldwell helps ensure that all departments across the hospital and offsite locations have the essential supplies needed to care for patients and their families.

Caldwell joined Pardee 10 years ago and says his work is deeply rewarding. “Working at Pardee has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my career,” he said. “We treat everyone with dignity and respect because any of us — or someone we love — may one day need the same care.”

Colleagues describe Caldwell as dependable, humble, and always ready to lend a hand. “He never complains, always steps in when needed, and is a true team player,” said one teammate. “Greenlee is soft-spoken but firm, knowledgeable, and always positive — a great asset to Materials Management and to Pardee.”

The Teammate of the Month award is given to a Pardee employee who positively contributes to achieving the organization’s mission, vision and goals. This person is selected by a committee of their peers and recognized for going above and beyond their regular duties to support patients, customers, peers, the organization and its community. The Teammate of the Month award showcases the many different roles of keeping a health system, like Pardee, operating and delivering patient-centered, quality care.

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit regional healthcare organization based in Henderson County and managed by UNC Health.
