UNC Health PardeeUNC Health Pardee’s newest practice, Pardee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, is pleased to announce its inaugural slate of providers now seeing patients at their four locations in Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, and Transylvania counties. This group of clinicians specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal system ranging from arthritis, joint pain and broken bones to sports injuries, tears, and sprains. Pardee’s robust team of orthopedic surgeons, non-operative sports medicine physicians, and physician assistants will provide innovative and personalized treatment, guiding each patient on their journey to improved mobility and strength.

Surgical options at Pardee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine cover a range of specialties including sports medicine surgery, total joint replacement, and hand and wrist. The orthopedic surgical team includes:

  • Nic Gay, MD: a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement.
  • Angus W. Graham, MD: a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
  • Mark S. Lemel, MD: a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in hand surgery.
