UNC Health Pardee Announces Two New Board Members and Executive Committee
UNC Health Pardee has announced the return of two longtime community advocates, Tammy Albrecht and Chip Gould, to its 15-person board of directors. Both bring decades of leadership, service, and a shared passion for the well-being of Henderson County. They will begin their new three-year terms in July, serving through 2028.
Tammy Albrecht served as a board member for eight years before rolling off in 2024. She is a western North Carolina native, born in Tryon and moving to Hendersonville in 1967. Tammy graduated from West Henderson High School and Mars Hill University. She began her career at Wilsonart more than 40 years ago, in the Human Resources Department and worked her way through the ranks in distribution, production and global project management. In addition to the Fletcher facility, Tammy also oversees a facility in Montreal, Canada.
Chip Gould is returning the Pardee board after serving from 2017 to 2023. He graduated from Hendersonville High School, attended Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia, and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1976. Gould is president and owner of Cason Companies Inc., a family-owned distributor of petroleum products, masonry, landscaping materials and hardware goods. In addition to Pardee, Chip serves as a board member for Blue Ridge Community College Board of Trustees and Education Foundation, Asheville Savings Bank Board, and Hendersonville Planning Board.
The board also elected a new executive committee, naming Hall Waddell as board chair, Dr. Bob Bryant as vice chair, Carol Larimore as secretary, and Greg Burnette as treasurer. Brittany Brady and Debbie Bell are rolling off the Board, and UNC Health Pardee extends its gratitude for their dedicated service.
