UNC Health Pardee Lifts Visitor Restrictions

UNC Health PardeeDue to decreasing cases of flu and other respiratory illnesses, UNC Health Pardee lifted temporary age-based visitor restrictions, effective Wednesday, April 2.

The temporary visitor restrictions were implemented in early January to prevent the further spread of respiratory illnesses and protect our patients, teammates, and visitors. UNC Health Pardee recognizes that patients’ family members and loved ones are important to the healing process. Leadership and infectious disease experts monitor infection data and either escalate or de-escalate precautions based on the latest data.

UNC Health Pardee is a not-for-profit regional healthcare organization based in Henderson County and managed by UNC Health. The county-owned hospital was founded in 1953 in Hendersonville, NC, and is licensed for 222 acute care beds.
