UNC Health Pardee Opens New Pardee BlueMD Location in South Asheville and Welcomes Dr. Justin Ongkingco

UNC Health Pardee is expanding access to primary care with the opening of a new Pardee BlueMD location at 21 Turtle Creek Drive in south Asheville. Pardee BlueMD also welcomes Justin Ongkingco, DO, MIH, a family medicine physician now seeing patients at the Turtle Creek practice. Dr. Ongkingco provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages and is committed to building long-term relationships rooted in empathy, respect, and continuity.

As a fourth-generation physician, Dr. Ongkingco has a deeply held belief in the power of personalized care and the importance of involving families in the health journey. “Each patient brings their own unique story, and I’m here to listen,” said Dr. Ongkingco. “My goal is to provide consistent, compassionate care that meets people where they are and supports their overall well-being.”

Dr. Ongkingco earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY, followed by a family medicine residency at Rochester Regional Health in Batavia, NY. He also holds a diploma in International Health and Public Health from the Institute for International Medicine and is a candidate in its master’s program. In his free time, Dr. Ongkingco enjoys hiking, snowboarding, swimming, producing music, attending live shows, and spending time with his family.
