Supply Distribution Technician Mark Holliday Named Teammate of the Month for UNC Health Pardee
UNC Health Pardee has named Mark Holliday, supply distribution technician in Materials Management, as its Teammate of the Month. Holliday delivers supplies to hospital departments and offsite locations, helping ensure teams have what they need to care for patients.
Holliday has worked at Pardee for 20 years and says the relationships he’s built are the best part of his job. “Staff count on me to deliver their supplies, and they’re always appreciative,” he said. “Some locations feel like family to me. I’m honored and humbled to receive this award.”
Teammates describe Holliday as cheerful, caring, dependable, and always willing to help. “He is such a nice guy,” one colleague said. “He’s always so happy.” Holliday’s positive attitude and consistent willingness to support others make him a valued member of the Pardee team.
The Teammate of the Month award is given to a Pardee employee who positively contributes to achieving the organization’s mission, vision, and goals. This person is selected by a committee of their peers and recognized for going above and beyond their regular duties to support patients, customers, peers, the organization, and its community. The Teammate of the Month award showcases the many different roles of keeping a health system, like Pardee, operating and delivering patient-centered, quality care.
