UNC Health Pardee is expanding access to high-quality specialty care for the region by adding a new location for Pardee Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, A Department of Pardee Hospital, and Pardee NeuroSpine Associates, as well as an Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic. The clinics will be co-located at 57 Howard Gap Road in Fletcher. The practices will begin seeing patients on April 15.

Pardee NeuroSpine Associates neurosurgeons Matthew Brown, MD, and Kelsey Walsh, MD, provide specialized care for complex conditions affecting the spine, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. Services include treatment for spinal stenosis, sciatica, back and neck pain, degenerative disc disease, cervical spine disorders, and other spine- and nerve-related conditions. The team focuses on personalized care plans, emphasizing appropriate nonsurgical options whenever possible. The Orthopedic Walk-In Clinic will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and provide immediate care for acute orthopedic and sports-related injuries, same day without an appointment or referral.
