UNC Health Pardee Names Stephanie Gloss Teammate of the Month

UNC Health Pardee has named Stephanie Gloss, home health intake supervisor with Pardee Home Health, as its Teammate of the Month. In her role, Gloss oversees the intake and referral process for home health services, working closely with hospital staff, providers, and clinicians to ensure patients receive timely, appropriate care as they transition from hospital to home.

Gloss joined Pardee nearly seven years ago and says the organization’s commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork makes it feel like home. “I’m proud to work for an organization that truly values its patients and its people,” she said.

Nominators describe Gloss as the foundation of Pardee Home Health operations, noting her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and calm, steady presence. Her work helps ensure referrals are accurate, clinicians receive complete information, and families feel supported from their first interaction. “Intake is the front door to our agency,” one nominator shared. “Stephanie approaches every referral with care, precision, and compassion.”

Gloss says her favorite part of her job is supporting patients and her team during critical transitions in care. “Coordinating services so patients can recover safely at home — and empowering our team to do meaningful work — is incredibly rewarding,” she said.
