UNC Health Pardee has opened a new outpatient infusion location designed to make specialized infusion care more convenient, comfortable, and accessible for patients across the region. Outpatient Infusion, part of Pardee Cancer Center, a department of Pardee Hospital, is now open on the second floor of the Henderson County Health Sciences Center, at 805 6th Ave. West, Suite 100, bringing all outpatient infusion treatment services together in one centralized location. The center is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
“This new outpatient infusion center reflects UNC Health Pardee’s commitment to expanding access to high-quality care close to home,” said John Hill, MD, Medical Director of Hematology, Oncology, and Cancer Research. “By offering a dedicated, patient-centered space for infusion services, we’re making it easier for patients to receive the treatments they need without an overnight hospital stay.”
The comprehensive outpatient infusion center serves patients who require a wide range of therapies, including:
- Regular IV medications for chronic or long-term conditions
- Chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized infusions
- Infusions for autoimmune or neurological conditions
- Anti-infective treatments
- Supportive therapies such as hydration and iron infusions
By consolidating infusion services into a single location, UNC Health Pardee aims to streamline care and improve the overall patient experience. The center offers a comfortable setting with a dedicated clinical team focused on safety, coordination, and compassionate care. Patients who may benefit from infusion therapy are encouraged to speak with their primary care provider or specialist about a referral.
